Joseph Parker stepped onto the scales nearly twenty pounds heavier compared to his opponent as each top fighters cut self-assured poses - although in opposing ways - ahead of the Saturday main event in the capital.

It is a significant difference from the sixteen stone twelve pound fighter who surrendered his world title to AJ in 2018.

Fabio Wardley, wearing an football shirt, maintained a serious expression, acknowledged the audience, but seemed concentrated.

Although he is the lighter guy, Fabio Wardley has superb knockout power. He delivered a remarkable comeback versus Justis Huni in June, trailing on the judges' cards prior to stopping his opponent in the tenth round despite being outmaneuvered for the majority of the bout.

"Parker, his team and boxing fans will find out I am meant to be at the top of this weight class," Fabio Wardley said.
